Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at Steele Memorial Medical Center. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care across various departments.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support is mandatory for specific units including Med/Surg, OR, ED, and House Supervisor.
  • BLS: Basic Life Support certification is essential for multiple units such as Med/Surg, OR, OT, Lab Director, MLT, PT, OB, ED, and House Supervisor.
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support is required for the ED and House Supervisor, with a preference for Med/Surg.
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure certification is necessary for L&D and House Supervisor roles.
  • Tech Cert Verification: National certification is required for the Lab Director position.
Job Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements
  • Government-issued photo identification is required.
  • The facility mandates the last six digits of the social security number.
  • Certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP may vary based on traveler requirements; please confirm with the facility regarding necessary certifications.
Unit-Specific Information
  • A competency exam is required prior to placement.
  • Compliance with Steele Memorial's Workforce Confidentiality and HIPAA Agreement, Contractor Compliance Policy Agreement, General Orientation Packet, and Orientation Acknowledgement is necessary.
  • Various job descriptions must be acknowledged for specific units, including RN, ER RN, OT Rehab, Pharmacy Director, MLT, and Respiratory Therapist.
Additional Information
  • Certifications from ARC, AHA, or the United States Department of Defense are accepted.
  • Primary Source Verification is required.
  • For the Lab Director position, National Registered Medical Technologist Certification (or equivalent with two years of leadership experience) is mandatory.
  • HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement is required.
  • State License and NURSYS Verifications are necessary.
