Asbestos Surveyor

At TTI Environmental, we are seeking a highly skilled Asbestos Surveyor to join our Industrial Hygiene Division. This is a hybrid position that requires working in the field with occasional trips to our Moorestown office.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial hygiene and experience conducting asbestos inspections and surveys. A current NJ AST certification is required for this role.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting detailed surveys for asbestos, lead based paint, right to know, and mold
• Performing air monitoring and contractor oversight during asbestos abatement projects
• Maintaining, operating, and calibrating sampling and monitoring equipment
• Technical report writing and interpretation of analytical data
• Timeliness, time management, ability to meet deadlines, and responsiveness to emergencies is vital

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Current EPA/AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector accreditation preferred
• Lead licenses preferred
• Knowledge of general building mechanical systems and building construction
• High School or Mechanical/Trade School Diploma
• Associate or B.S. in Environmental Science preferred
