Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Essentia Health. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our ICU. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

* Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
* Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring patient-centered care
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements:

* Current nursing licensure in the state of employment
* Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within three months
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year
* Two years of previous ICU nursing experience
