Job Description

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join their team in Wayne, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiology equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Determine the appropriate radiological technique and position for patients using immobilization and support devices.
  • Adhere to safety standards and practices to ensure patient safety and quality care.
  • Perform quality control tasks, including inventorying supplies, labeling radiology images, and preparing contrast media.
  • Coordinate patient flow and communicate with providers to ensure exams are completed in a timely fashion.
Requirements
  • IDNS license and graduation from an accredited AMA School of Radiology.
  • Knowledge of Health Information System and basic knowledge of radiology equipment.
  • CPR certification and licensure by IDNS.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
