Your Impact:
As a Precision CNC Operator, you will possess outstanding manufacturing expertise, a solid understanding of various CNC machinery and controls, and a commitment to contributing to a world-class manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in a full-time, onsite role.
- Preferred working hours are Monday to Thursday, from 5 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Independently perform complex machining tasks on one or more machines, handling challenging assignments with reliability.
- Initiate and monitor machine operations to identify malfunctions or deviations in machining tolerances, promptly notifying supervisors of any issues.
- Conduct thorough inspections of initial production runs.
- Achieve job standard times with minimal oversight.
- Identify production challenges and communicate them to management.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic machine language (G and M codes).
- Verify the conformity of finished products to specifications using standard measuring instruments.
- Interpret and analyze manufacturing and engineering drawings.
- Maintain a consistent record of high-quality output with minimal rework and scrap.
- Ensure high efficiency and productivity rates for assigned machinery.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment as necessary.
- Carry out additional tasks in the machine shop as directed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols established by the company, including the proper use of equipment and procedures.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Availability for a full-time position with set shift times.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience, training, certifications, or demonstrated capability to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret various technical documents, including blueprints, specifications, charts, and tables. At this level, you will serve as a technical resource for less experienced machinists.
- Work independently, follow instructions, and maintain focus for extended periods.
- Exhibit a positive attitude towards work and punctuality.
- Effectively utilize basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.).
- Follow instructions with strong attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
- Possess mechanical aptitude and good manual dexterity.

While executing the duties of this role, the employee is frequently required to:
- Lift or move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Reach in various directions to maneuver equipment.
- Stand and walk continuously throughout the workday.

- Access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
Work Environment:
A significant portion of work time occurs in a machine shop where temperatures can fluctuate. The environment may also involve exposure to noise, dust, and fumes. The company provides standard safety equipment, and specific notices are posted in areas where safety gear is required.
