Land Acquisition Director

About the Role
Lennar Homes is seeking a highly skilled Director of Land Acquisitions to lead our land acquisition efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and developing new land opportunities to support our growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of land acquisition, including due diligence, feasibility studies, and entitlements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, brokers, and other stakeholders to identify potential land acquisition opportunities.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and research to identify trends and opportunities in the land market.
- Prepare and present land acquisition packages to senior management and the investment committee for approval.
- Negotiate purchase and sale agreements with land sellers, ensuring that all terms and conditions are favorable to Lennar Homes.
- Collaborate with our development team to ensure that all land acquisition activities are aligned with our overall business strategy.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all land acquisition activities, including market research, due diligence, and entitlements.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in land acquisition and development.
- Strong knowledge of land acquisition principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance coverage.
