About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Professional to provide clinical support in our Pharmacy Department. As a key member of our team, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Clinical Support: Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, provide clinical support in accordance with state and federal regulations, Company policies, and procedures.
  2. Prescription Processing: Utilize pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and verify medication accuracy.
  3. Customer Experience: Engage customers, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service, modeling and sharing best practices with team members.
  4. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  5. Clinical Services: Assist pharmacists in administering clinical services, including collection and labeling of blood/urine samples and coordination of clinical services.
  6. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain good relationships with local medical communities, including physicians, nurses, and health care providers.
  7. Store Maintenance: Ensure the Pharmacy Department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat, and orderly.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  1. Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  2. Have a willingness to work flexible schedules, including evening and weekend hours.
  3. Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  4. Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  5. Have good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
  6. Have good computer skills.
  7. Have knowledge of store inventory control.
  8. Be willing to earn and maintain PTCB certification.
