Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team. As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including depositions, arbitrations, trials, and mediations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including depositions, arbitrations, trials, and mediations.
- Research complex legal matters, prepare legal briefs, memoranda, and pleadings, and appear in court to argue on behalf of the client.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, colleagues, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
- Provide legal advice to clients regarding all aspects of insurance defense law.
- Develop and implement defense strategies, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in court to obtain favorable resolutions.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance law, litigation, and commercial litigation.
- Proven experience as an insurance defense attorney.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
