Work Schedule: Full-Time
Shift Details: Day shifts, 7 AM to 7 PM, with required weekend rotations
Community Impact:
· AdventHealth Apopka is a modern, seven-story, 120-bed facility that provides a wide array of services, including advanced surgical options and a catheterization lab.
· The facility boasts a 30,000-square-foot emergency department equipped with pediatric-friendly accommodations, imaging services, a full-service cafeteria, a chapel, a gift shop, and an on-site fire station.
· This facility was inaugurated in December 2017, replacing a smaller hospital that had served the community for over forty years.
Your Role:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is tasked with delivering and overseeing comprehensive nursing care to designated age-specific populations. This role involves utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to meet the objectives of the nursing department. Compliance with the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and adherence to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations is essential. The RN will actively engage in exceptional customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all stakeholders.
Qualifications for Success:
Essential Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current valid nursing license in the State of Florida or a multistate license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) as required by specialty/unit
- EKG competency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Professional nursing certification
