Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $36.00 to $47.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.

Job Summary

We seek an experienced Senior Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Unity Hospital. As a key member of our Respiratory Department, you will provide expert care and guidance to patients, families, and staff. Your strong knowledge, evaluations, and recommendations are crucial to successful treatment and patient comfort.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop patient care plans, modifying therapeutic techniques based on patient response and initiating updates as needed.
  • Advise providers on appropriate respiratory care procedures and techniques, recommending and conducting prescribed therapeutic procedures while documenting results.
  • Select, assemble, and check respiratory care equipment for proper function, operation, and cleanliness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • An Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent certificate is required.
  • Three (3) or more years of previous full-time critical care experience in respiratory care is necessary.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills are essential.
