Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Porter to join our team at Berman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. As an Automotive Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our vehicle inventory, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, offering assistance with locating vehicles or directing them to the appropriate department.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of vehicles on the lot, including washing and vacuuming dealership and customer vehicles.
  • Moving vehicles to designated areas.
  • Safely provide vehicle pickup and delivery for customers.
  • Assist with the organization and management of vehicle inventory, including tracking vehicle locations and updating inventory systems as needed.
  • Perform regular checks of vehicle keys and ensure they are stored securely and accounted for at all times.
  • Routine maintenance tasks to upkeep the appearance and functionality of the dealership building and grounds.
  • Work closely with sales, service, and other dealership departments to support overall operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness of entrances, and common areas, by sweeping and trash removal.
  • Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (3 year min).
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling as needed.
  • Punctuality and reliability in attendance.
  • Dependable work ethic with a commitment to completing tasks thoroughly and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with basic building maintenance tasks such as lightbulb changes and lawn care.
  • Willingness to learn and perform routine maintenance duties as assigned.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and prioritize tasks effectively.
