Job Summary

The Nurse Coordinator (RN or LPN) is a vital member of our clinical team, responsible for overseeing and coordinating all clinical support activities in the practice. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional clinical assistance to patients within the practice, supporting the physicians in establishing and maintaining quality patient care.
  • Work directly with the physicians as a liaison between the patient and the physicians, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with clinic protocols and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Assist with determining appropriate staffing levels, recruitment efforts, and performance evaluations for clinical staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Administer vaccinations and injections, infusions, and biologics, as well as perform phlebotomy and other clinical procedures.
  • Triages telephone calls and schedules urgent care appointments, frequent contact with outside providers and agencies to facilitate and coordinate patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse) Program.
  • Three (3) or more years in a clinical setting, preferably in office settings related to internal medicine sub-specialties.
  • Current licensure in Massachusetts as a Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
