The Housekeeping Team Member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, corridors, and staircases. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide and supply housekeeping carts with linens and towels in compliance with brand standards.
- Remove and clean soiled linens and trash from rooms upon stripping and cleaning floors.
- Collect and transport soiled linens to the laundry area.
- Restock linens on floors as necessary.
- Clean and maintain common areas, including elevators, elevators trucks, and back lending areas.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled.
- Assist room attendants with general cleaning tasks.
- Manage guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow proper hotel safety policies and procedures.
- Previous experience in a similar capacity is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and guests.
- Able to understand and follow all safety-related procedures.
- Regular attendance and availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
This role requires standing and walking for an entire shift, as well as performing repetitive motions, bending, stretching, reaching, stooping, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
