Job Title: Security Processor

The Tatitlek Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Security Processor to join our team. As a Security Processor, you will assist the assigned Government Division Chief and team leader with various security administration duties to ensure the protection of classified national security information and Sensitive but Unclassified information within Department of State facilities worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the Department of State's programs established to protect classified national security information at all classification levels and in accordance with applied handling caveats within the Department and that which may be entrusted to private industry.
  • Provide administrative support for the Division Chief for general administration, department reports, rosters, action tracking, and special projects.
  • Interface with various levels of personnel in the Division on office policies, personnel matters, and procedures related to the day-to-day operations of the Division.
  • Draft correspondence and develop and maintain databases for statistical analysis.
  • Prepare periodic or special reports of workload and information from files to assist Division Chief and other security personnel within the Division.
  • Prepare office files using various office platforms such as IMS, ServiceNow, etc. throughout the year and conduct annual reports.
  • Work with Division security specialists to scan paper case files and enter relevant information onto and into various office data base platforms.
  • Input and verify accuracy of data from a wide variety of source documents such as security incident records and other narrative and statistical information and assist administratively in the processing of security incidents.
  • Order and maintain office supplies, office equipment, and property equipment inventories as assigned by the Division, placing calls for equipment repair requests and physical plant problems.
  • Rapidly respond to and resolve any administrative problems and maintain office records.
  • Participate in Marine security guard exercises to investigate proper safeguarding of classified information within the workplace.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate within the Directorate.
  • Work under direct supervision in the day-to-day performance of assigned program security support tasks and actions.
  • Conduct assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with agency policies and applicable security regulations.
Requirements:
  • Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: One (1) to three (3) years of specialized administrative experience in the following areas: Office management, suspense tracking, review of executive level correspondence, database administration, financial and project status tracking and reporting, monthly reporting, and maintenance of operating procedures.
  • Each year of college can be substituted for one year of experience.
  • Preferred: Department of State experience.
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow database guidelines.
  • Experience providing general administrative support to an office and maintaining various administrative reports.
  • Experience using database software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Clearance Requirement:

Position will be subject to a Government Security Investigation. Incumbent shall possess SECRET security clearance at a minimum. Interim clearances may be accepted by the COR with Government Program Manager's approval.

Additional Qualifying Factors:

As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
