As a Patient Care Coordinator at All Saints Hospice, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients and their families. Your dedication and expertise will make a significant difference in the lives of those we serve.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in the south area (Marksville, Mansura, Simmesport, Cottonport) and the north area (Alexandria, Pineville, Jena, Jonesville). In this role, you will provide patient-centered care, ensuring the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist nurses with various basic care activities related to services essential to caring for patients' personal needs and comfort.
- Dress, groom, bathe, feed, take, and record vital signs of patients.
- Answer call lights, assist with toileting, oral care, nail care, catheter care, and other tasks as needed.
- Provide simple or uncomplicated patient care, including cleaning rooms and changing bed linens.
- Take and record temperature, pulse, and respiration rate.
- Give medication as directed by physicians or nurses and maintain accurate records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Certification as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state where care is provided.
- Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide.
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds, sit, stand, and walk for periods of time, and perform proper body mechanics.

Compensation and Benefits
