Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for a travel job in a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center.

Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will perform technical procedures and assist in the clinical evaluation and care of patients. The ideal candidate will have experience with computed tomography (CT) scans and be able to create diagnostic images while providing a safe and positive experience for patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Assist in the clinical evaluation and care of patients
  • Utilize radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
  • Support teaching and continue learning as technology changes
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
  • New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
