Job Title: Senior Practical Nurse - Omaha

About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Omaha. As a member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents, including administering medications, wound care, and treatments as prescribed by the physician. You will also monitor residents' vital signs, document their progress, and report any significant changes to the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Monitoring and Assessment: Monitor residents' vital signs, document their progress, and report any significant changes to the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing.
  • Care Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet each resident's needs.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient care, communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Licensure: Valid LPN license in NE
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited LPN program
  • Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred
  • Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification required

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
