About the RoleWe seek an experienced and skilled Psychiatrist to join our team of 25 physicians in Stockton or Modesto, California. As a member of our group, you will have the unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), to provide comprehensive care to patients struggling with treatment-resistant depression.
This is an ideal position for a motivated professional looking to contribute to a progressive medical practice that prioritizes patient outcomes and staff development. With over 7 locations throughout Northern California and plans for expansion, we offer a supportive environment for growth and advancement.
**Estimated Salary:** $250,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental status assessments, symptom evaluation, and relevant health histories.
- Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing therapies grounded in evidence-based standards of care.
- Monitor and continuously improve patient outcomes through regular follow-ups and data analysis.
- Provide timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters using NextGen EMR.
- Audit and accurately code clinical encounters with CPT and diagnosis codes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training in TMS therapy, maintaining a minimum of ten hours per year.
- Strong interest in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Evidence-based psychiatry principles and practices.
