Job Title: Behavioral Health Qualified Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Qualified Professional to join our team at RHA Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use needs in home, school, workplace, and community settings.

Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health Qualified Professional will provide strength-based interventions to promote recovery, symptom reduction, and increased coping skills. You will work closely with individuals, families, and other supports to facilitate relationships and provide supportive counseling. Your focus will be on minimizing the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere with daily living and personal development.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sessions in home settings with youth, family members, and other supports
  • Provide support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use issues in home, school, workplace, and community settings
  • Facilitate relationships and serve as a link between individuals served, the company, family, guardians, local agencies, and the community
  • Minimize the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere with daily living and personal development, providing supportive counseling
  • Support clients in developing various skill-building activities, including daily and community living skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, and behavior and anger management
  • Perform case management functions of linking and arranging for services and referrals
  • Work closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardizing procedures and expediting service implementation
Requirements:
  • Meet the requirements of a Qualified Professional
  • Bachelor's degree (in Human Services field) & 2+ years full-time experience with population served
  • Bachelor's degree (Not Human Services field) & 4+ years full-time experience with population served
  • OR Master's Degree or Higher & 1+ years full-time experience with population served
  • License, Provisional License, Certificate, Registration, Permit issued by governing board regulating human service profession
