Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Centre For Neuro Skills. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients with brain injuries achieve their maximum independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer initial evaluations to identify major problems and develop treatment plans
  • Administer patient therapy programs, including range of motion exercises and on-site job, home, power tools, and height evaluations
  • Review and update patient programs through interim evaluations
  • Consult with patients, insurance representatives, families, and therapists from various clinic disciplines to instruct, advise, or inform them of procedures and tests
  • Communicate with outside ancillary services, such as neuro-optometrists and neurologists, as needed
  • Stay informed of all patient programs in the department
  • Instruct clinic aides on treatment plans to be completed daily and supervise clinic aides and students
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Current Occupational Therapy License in the state employed or license eligible
  • Knowledge and experience with sensory integration and neurodevelopment of the visual system is recommended and preferred

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of the current salary is $78,000-$95,000/year.

Sign-on Bonus
  • $5,000 with a 1-year commitment/pay-back agreement
  • $10,000 with a 2-year commitment/pay-back agreement
  • $15,000 with a 3-year commitment/pay-back agreement
