As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

* Administer comprehensive physical exams, including vision, hearing, vitals, respiratory fit testing, drug and alcohol testing, and other specialized tests as required.
* Perform basic lab tests, handle specimens, administer medications and injections, conduct blood draws, and apply splints and dressings.
* Maintain a clean and organized examination room, conduct stock inspections, and ensure supplies are available for optimal patient care.
* Provide assistance to attending medical providers during examinations and medical procedures.
* Undertake administrative duties, including patient scheduling, phone answering, and maintaining patient charts.
* Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including professional certification, patient confidentiality, and adherence to treatment and safety protocols.
* Contribute to COVID-related responsibilities, such as temperature screenings, questionnaire administration, vital sign monitoring, and testing.

Requirements:

* Completion of a Medical Assistant course from an accredited school.
* Possession of a Medical Assistant certificate consistent with state requirements.
* Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) with AED certificates.
* Clinical experience is an advantage.
