Job Summary:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders in our patients. You will create individualized treatment plans, perform screenings, and educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Create individualized treatment plans
- Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders
- Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes
- Keep detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress
- Report progress and current status to appropriate parties
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California Speech & Language Pathologist license
- Minimum 6 months of experience in Speech and Language Pathology
- Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments
- Excellent coaching and verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computers, especially patient and healthcare databases
- Reliable transportation and auto insurance
- CPR certification
