Electrical Systems Coordinator II

Tennessee Tech University is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Coordinator II to join our team. This role is responsible for planning, installing, and repairing electrical systems, as well as ensuring the safety and reliability of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and install new or modified electrical installations to minimize waste and ensure accessibility for future maintenance.
- Install and test control and distribution apparatus, including switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.
- Inspect and test electrical panels and wiring circuits to ensure compatibility and safety.
- Repair and replace electrical motors, controllers, and starters, as well as inspect and test wiring for loose or faulty connections.
- Work with outside vendors to maintain elevators and perform periodic checks.
- Provide electrical, sound, and PA services for special events and athletic events.
- Operate tow motors, lifts, and bucket trucks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid TN Driver's license.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in installation, maintenance, repairs, and operation of electrical systems.
- Certified for low voltage installation.
- TN state electrical license.
- Familiarity with elevator controls.
- Knowledge of fire alarm installation and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of telecommunication and IT installation and operation.
