Educational Background and Requirements

- Registration as a Diet Tech or a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition or Nursing (for Nutrition Assistant II)
- Previous experience with the WIC program is highly desirable
- Completion of the Minimum Paraprofessional Competencies defined by Washington State WIC Program
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and annual maintenance
