The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in data analysis and database management to enhance the energy procurement team's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract data from various formats, including Excel, CSV, and JSON files.
- Design and implement dashboards and visualizations using Google Looker Studio.
- Develop and manage relational databases in Google BigQuery.
- Utilize SQL for crafting queries and database views.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external consultants to foster effective relationships focused on energy analytics and compliance reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements as the organization expands.
- Document processes and analytical findings.
- Engage in ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience, or a High School diploma with 5 years of applicable experience.
- Experience in the energy sector, including electric utilities, CCAs, power marketing, or regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in programming and data analysis using R, Python, and/or SQL to extract insights and support decision-making.
- Experience in creating dashboards and visualizations with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio.
- Familiarity with relational databases and the ability to derive insights using Google BigQuery and SQL.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
