Position Overview


Ensemble Performing Arts is on the lookout for enthusiastic, skilled, and dedicated
substitute music instructor to engage part-time at our various locations.

We seek educators who can provide IN-PERSON instruction. Proficiency in teaching multiple instruments is advantageous.


Substitute instructors will be called upon to fill in for primary educators when necessary, but consistency is valued by both students and faculty, and preference will be given to those with greater availability.


Ideal candidates will possess a solid musical foundation, demonstrated through a degree in their chosen instrument or vocal performance, or equivalent performance experience. A passion for teaching, experience with young musicians, a strong commitment to punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to clear a standard background check are essential.

Compensation for instructors is based on experience, ranging from $30 to $33 per hour.

There is potential for advancement to a primary teaching role for those who demonstrate reliability and availability.
