Position Details:
Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Work Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours per week, with flexible 12-hour shifts available.
Compensation: Competitive wages ranging from $26 to $36 per hour for LPNs, with additional sign-on bonuses available.
Role Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers professional nursing care to residents of all ages in a long-term care setting, under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Key responsibilities include:
- Applying nursing principles to assess and address the needs of residents.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Documenting resident interactions and care outcomes accurately.
- Collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals and support staff.
- Providing education and counseling to residents and their families regarding care plans.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be graduates of an accredited practical nursing program and hold a valid LPN license. Additional requirements may include:
- Completion of an IV therapy course if applicable.
- Experience in a clinical setting.
