Responsibilities and Duties
  • Transport consumers to assigned program destinations, ensuring proper safety standards are maintained on board the vehicle.
  • Complete daily records and maintain paperwork.
  • Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and safety equipment inspections.
  • Communicate effectively with diversified groups of people.
  • Assist physically/mentally challenged individuals entering and exiting vehicles as required.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One year of work experience transporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or severe mental illness is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable DMV record is mandatory.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds is necessary.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred.
Estimated Salary: $25-30 per hour
