Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Raw Materials Handler to join our team at Sonaca North America. As a key member of our production operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and inventory throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory activities with accuracy and efficiency
  • Follow all applicable Standard Procedures (SPs) and Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs)
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, adhering to safety regulations
  • Unpack crates and boxes, inspect items for damage, and document discrepancies
  • Process Jobscope system transactions related to shipping, receiving, and bin transferring
  • Assist with production operations, including roll-forming skin panels
  • Maintain shipping and receiving files, and assist with customer returns
  • Monitor and revise weekly I50 reports
  • Perform Lean and 6S functions to optimize workflow and efficiency
  • Assist in investigating errors and implementing corrective actions
  • Drive delivery trucks to collect and track paperwork, and make deliveries on time
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training
  • Ability to complete job duties and interact with employees, customers, and vendors in a professional manner
  • Valid driver's license with no major traffic violations within the past three years
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
