Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Mental Health Registered Nurse to join our team in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Mental Health unit. As a Mental Health Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to patients with mental health conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in therapeutic milieu activities, such as group therapy and education sessions.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor patient behavior and intervene as needed to prevent crisis situations.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a psychiatric setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
