As a Diesel Technician I, you will be part of a team that offers opportunities for growth and resources for employees to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with management to increase productivity and profitability.
  • Perform PM Services, tractor-trailer repairs, and maintenance.
  • Conduct vehicle safety inspections and diagnostic tests to identify worn and damaged parts.
  • Remove, repair, adjust, overhaul, assemble, disassemble, and replace significant assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems.
  • Create accurate estimates on customer vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and management to relay the needed repairs and the value of such repairs.
  • Operate company vehicles safely, adhering to company policies and federal and state laws.
  • Make roadside repairs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a safe and clean workspace.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, a technical degree is a plus.
  • Prior diesel mechanic experience preferred; must own mechanical tools.
  • Valid driver's license with ability to pass DOT medical card requirement.
  • Ability to lift 125lbs.
  • Positive, customer service attitude.
  • Basic math skills to calculate accurate repair estimates.
