Key Responsibilities- Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with guests and customers to resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
- Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
- Properly store and maintain tools, equipment, and machines, including flammable materials.
- Carry equipment and tools necessary to perform job duties.
- Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and buildings on property.
- Maintain inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
- Communicate with other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Perform surface preparation for painting, drywall, and wood trim repair.
- Replace light bulbs and air filters, and perform thorough clean-up of work areas.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance computer systems and devices.
- Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Interact with the public in a cheerful and positive manner, solving guest problems and complaints in a proper manner.
