Job Details
This full-time position is located in Winter Haven, FL, and requires a commitment to working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Assistant/LPN, you will be responsible for performing routine lab procedures, preparing specimens for transport to the lab, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. You will also be responsible for following up on test orders, reporting results to providers and patients, and providing education and support to patients and families.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent, and certification as a Medical Assistant or LPN. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional requirements include BLS certification within 30 days of hire and approved Medical Assistant Certification or LPN license within six months of hire date.
