Job Overview

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will work under the direction of a radiologist to perform routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures. You will apply prescribed ionizing radiation to obtain a radiologic diagnosis, using your independent judgment and ingenuity to ensure high-quality images.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures
  • Follow the principles and guidelines set forth by the American College of Radiology
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training in an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Acute care experience preferred, although new graduates will be considered
  • Registered by and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • State License through the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control is mandatory
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/BLS certification required
