We are a leading manufacturer of high-quality woolen products, and we are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Pendleton Ambassador.

Job Summary

The Pendleton Ambassador will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales and profitability, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment. This is a part-time keyholder sales associate position, requiring a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the company's sales and profitability goals through product knowledge, exceptional customer service, and sales.
  • Maintain store visual objectives and housekeeping expectations.
  • Monitor store email and react to business-critical directives.
  • Provide positive feedback and encourage positive selling and customer service behaviors.
  • Communicate effectively with store management and staff.
  • Responsible for shift opening and closing store functions.
  • Ensure store is opened with preparedness and secured at closing.
  • Create and execute daily planners and communicate expectations with staff.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and ensure store team is compliant.
  • Complete sales transactions with efficiency from end to end.
  • Escalate store issues in a timely manner and identify and act to solve problems and recommend improvements.
Requirements
  • Self-motivated, sales-driven, and prioritizes customer service.
  • Supports a team environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Computer/POS systems and software skills.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with store employees, management, and customers.
  • Maintain calm and poised in stressful situations and know when to partner for support.
  • Solution-oriented, bringing challenges to a positive conclusion and partnering with store management to find solutions for improvements.
Qualifications
  • 2 years of retail sales or customer service experience, including a minimum of 1 year of shift supervision.
  • Must practice effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
System Requirements
  • Microsoft Office email.
  • Retail inventory software.
  • Understand the POS system and other software used by the stores.
Physical Demands and Working Environment
  • Flexible schedule with nights, holidays, and weekend shifts per scheduling guidelines.
  • Physical dexterity and stamina to reach and lift to complete visual presentations and/or store set up.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Reaching arms over head, ladder use, computer operation, continuous standing and walking, hand coordination, telephone use, speaking, reading, and writing.
