Cardiology Services Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Cardiovascular Services to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of our Cardiac Catherization Labs, Electrophysiology Labs, Cardiology post-interventional units, and associated admission recovery area.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to improve patient care and outcomes in cardiovascular services.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and other members of the Medical Staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Manage the financial aspects of cardiac services, including budgeting, payroll, and equipment purchases.
- Stay up-to-date with advances in cardiac procedures and business development, and make recommendations for future planning and growth.
- Attend and/or conduct regular meetings with the cardiologists and attend various hospital committee meetings.
- Oversee the growth, development, and expansion of the eICU program.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of three years progressive management experience with at least seven years in the field.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a manner supportive of hospital policy.
- Understanding of financial and statistical formats.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
