Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team at Pennsylvania Transformer Technology, LLC. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for administering health and welfare plans, providing customer service, and performing various administrative tasks related to human resources. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a working understanding of human resource principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrating health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Processing required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions. Providing customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. Completing Forms I-9, verifying I-9 documentation, and maintaining I-9 files. Submitting online investigation requests and assisting with new-employee background checks. Reconciling benefits statements. Assisting with processing of terminations. Assisting with the preparation of the performance review process. Tracking status of candidates in HRIS and responding with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process. Scheduling meetings and interviews as requested by the manager of HR. Filing documents into appropriate employee files. Assisting or preparing correspondence as requested. Preparing new-employee files. Maintaining accurate documentation of service records, customer communications, and other relevant data. Developing, facilitating, and implementing all phases of the recruitment process. Consulting with client company or organization to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s). Collecting and analyzing data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields. Consulting data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions. Collaborating with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Screening candidates, selecting qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connecting viable candidates with clients or hiring managers. Checking candidates' references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds. Counseling candidates on the interview and hiring process. Determining the effectiveness and success of current recruiting plans and strategies. Organizing and attending job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities. Following up with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collecting feedback when placement is unsuccessful. Arranging meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when necessary. Ensuring compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations. Performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience. At least two years' related experience required. SHRM-CP credential preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for project management and reporting.
The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience.
