Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Tyler Oral & Facial Surgery. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer intravenous medications and monitor patient vital signs during surgery and in recovery.
  • Provide routine technical nursing duties, including starting IV lines and cleaning and maintaining clinical equipment.
  • Assist with patient triage, post-operative care instructions, and communication with primary care providers.
  • Lead the surgical team and maintain schedules, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the surgeon and surgical team.
Requirements:
  • Current LVN certification
  • CPR/BLS certification (or ability to complete within 1 month of hire)
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Leadership, problem-solving, and ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Effective communication skills
  • 2 or more years of previous experience (preferred)
  • Experience with IVs and intravenous medications (preferred)
  • ACLS certification (preferred)
