About the Role

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers patient-centered care, working collaboratively with medical providers to ensure the best possible outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status
  • Performing procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider
  • Documenting the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
  • Maintaining a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients
