Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. You will also be expected to maintain accurate and detailed records, communicate effectively with patients and families, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, including patient charts, medication lists, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education and support to promote health and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or baccalaureate Registered Nurse degree from a program accredited by The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • Current, full and unrestricted licensed as Registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey.
  • One year of professional experience as a licensed registered nurse.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to pass a federal government security background check.
