Physical Therapist

TherapySouth is seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. As a Staff Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering programs of physical therapy to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning in patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, modalities, and manual therapy, to achieve maximum benefit.
- Supervise physical therapist assistants and supportive personnel to ensure accurate and timely completion of delegated job tasks.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Master's degree in an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program.
- Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
- Ability to lift, position, push, and/or transfer patients.
- Flexibility to treat a varying daily patient load, including evaluations, walk-ins, and follow-up visits.
