Emergency Department Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Henderson Hospital.
About the Role:As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
Responsibilities:- Provide safe and competent nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and completion of a specialty course or equivalent.
- One year of acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada and current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification (Adult patients) and current PALS certification (Pediatric patients) or current NRP certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.
