Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled travel nurse to fill a Cardiac Tele Float position in a reputable healthcare facility.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and dedicated travel nurse to join our team as a Cardiac Tele Float specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing, with a focus on cardiac care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a Cardiac Tele Float setting
  • Monitor and manage patients with cardiac conditions, including those who have undergone cardiac catheterization
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' cardiac conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri or a compact state
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing, with a focus on cardiac care
  • Experience with titrating drips, pre- and post-cardiac catheterization patients, and sheaths
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac medications and treatments
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Cerner charting system
  • Teaching hospital experience
  • Trauma Level I experience
  • NIHSS certification
  • TNCC certification
