About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of member orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner by pulling merchandise from a pick list and utilizing a handheld scanner device to verify merchandise.
  • Build boxes, shrink wrap packages, and move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area.
  • Communicate problems with inventory and/or equipment and communicate expired or short-dated items included on the pick list.
  • Work with the team to have merchandise pulled from the reserve area, when possible, to avoid sales floor replenishment.
  • Ensure all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet all productivity requirements.
  • Follow operational efficiencies, processes, and productivity standards with adherence to established SOP for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.

Requirements

  • Previous order pulling experience is preferred.
  • Big box/wholesale retail experience is preferred.
  • Previous RF scanner experience is preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces.
  • There may be a need to frequently position oneself to examine and/or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.
  • Continuously requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $16.50-$19.80. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
