Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on packaging and production equipment, including extruders, dryers, dry bulk storage and conveying systems, dilute phase pneumatic conveying systems, high-speed packaging machinery, low-pressure boilers, thermal fluid process heaters, material handling systems, water chillers, compressed air systems, and HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to address recurring issues and complete preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
  • Work alongside operations to understand operating systems and provide training on mechanical components.
  • Ensure that quality standards are maintained in all areas of responsibility.
  • Adhere to established food safety programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, high-quality products that meet both regulatory and company standards.
  • Support the ongoing improvement of food safety and quality systems.

Requirements
  • A two-year associate degree or higher in a technical field, such as mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, electro-mechanical, controls and automation, etc.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship in mechanics, mechanical maintenance, electro-mechanical, electrical, or a related field.
  • Military training and experience in a relevant Military Occupational Specialty (MOS).
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a mechanical, maintenance, electrical, electro-mechanical, controls and automation, or related role.
