Marine Mechanical Designer Opportunity

System One Holdings, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Marine Mechanical Designer to join our team in the design and development of marine vessels.

This role involves creating detailed piping layouts and fabrication drawings, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.

The successful candidate will support design work for repairs, modifications, and new fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop marine mechanical systems and piping layouts
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations
  • Support design work for repairs, modifications, and new fabrication projects

Requirements:

  • Heavy marine design experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D and Shipconstructor
  • Ability to read, analyze, design, and interpret drawings and technical specifications
  • Strong mathematical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Contract Details:

  • Remote work arrangement
  • 12-month contract duration
  • Hourly rate will depend on years of experience
