Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A to join our team in Harvard, IL. As a dedicated solo class A CDL truck driver, you will be responsible for delivering freight to various locations in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight as required
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements
  • At least 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years
Benefits
