As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to seat residents in the dining room, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Seating and Service: Promptly and warmly greet and direct guests to their tables based on availability or desired seating arrangements.
- Customer Service: Handle customer service situations as they arise, providing exceptional communication skills and a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
- Team Supervision: Supervise the activities of food-service associates in the dining room to ensure proper customer service, food handling, and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Training and Development: Help train new food-service team members and assist with service, including occasional bussing and food service, while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
- Emergency Procedures: Demonstrate knowledge of emergency safety procedures and help evacuate guests to safety in the event of a fire or other emergency.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess exceptional communication skills, getting along well with others, demonstrating flexibility and patience, and possessing an interest in people.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
- Teamwork: Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties and during special events or functions.
