Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiography testing and assisting physicians in delivering safe and effective patient care.

• Perform all types of echocardiography testing, including transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo exams.
• Assist physicians in delivering safe and effective patient care during testing in the echocardiography lab.
• Work collaboratively with registered nurses and physicians to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes and quality care.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to impact patient and service outcomes based on professional practice standards.

• Technical Diploma from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program.
• Appropriate credential in echocardiography from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Current and valid BLS certification.
• Strong communication, detail orientation, customer service, and multitasking skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience performing echocardiography with various manufacturer echo machines used in the Echo Lab.

• Current and valid BLS certification for outpatient facilities.
• 1-2 years of experience performing echocardiograms.
