Responsabilidades Esenciales:

  • Realizar evaluaciones y tratamientos adaptados a las necesidades de los niños y sus familias.
  • Comunicar de manera efectiva con el personal, padres, maestros y socios comunitarios.
  • Fomentar un ambiente amigable, cómodo y seguro.
  • Respetar y promover los derechos de los individuos.
  • Gestionar informes pendientes según lo requerido por los financiadores.
  • Completar la documentación de manera oportuna, incluyendo notas diarias y reportes de progreso.
  • Colaborar con otros proveedores de servicios, incluyendo terapeutas y maestros de aula.
  • Realizar otras tareas según sea necesario para satisfacer las necesidades del departamento.

Educación y Experiencia:

  • Título de Maestría en Patología del Habla y Lenguaje de una universidad aprobada por la CAA; requerido.
  • Licencia en Patología del Habla y Lenguaje del Consejo de California; requerido.
  • Cumplir con los requisitos educativos y de experiencia para obtener el Certificado de Competencia Clínica en Patología del Habla y Lenguaje, otorgado por la Asociación Americana de Patología del Habla y Lenguaje; requerido.
  • Se considerarán candidatos con experiencia clínica sólida.
  • Se prefiere un mínimo de un (1) año de experiencia clínica en Patología del Habla y Lenguaje.
  • Certificación en RCP/Primeros Auxilios.

Habilidades y Conocimientos:

  • Excelentes habilidades interpersonales.
  • Capacidad para leer, escribir y comunicarse en inglés de manera efectiva.
  • Mantener la confidencialidad.
  • Poseer paciencia y comprensión para comunicarse con personas sobre sus necesidades.
  • Trabajar de manera profesional y cooperativa con otros.

Requisitos:

  • Mantener prueba válida y actual de derecho legal para conducir en California.
  • Superar todos los requisitos de evaluación previa a la contratación, incluyendo verificación de antecedentes y pruebas de salud.
  • Capacidad para realizar actividades físicas como levantar hasta 50 lbs.
